  • shredded zucchini, squash (inner flesh), whole grain pasta, quinoa, soba noodles, rice pasta, shirataki noodles, black bean spaghetti, broccoli slaw or shredded cabbage.

Eat only from a plate, while seated at a table

When full your body sends signal to the brain. Upon receiving this signal you get a feeling of being full and you stop eating. The problem is that it takes around 20 minutes to receive it. This is why it is very important to eat slowly, focus on your food and the process of eating. You have to give yourself some time to enjoy the process. Turn the TV off. Most people just eat quickly and mindlessly while watching TV. No fast weight loss for them!

Drink more water

Drinking plenty of still water will help you with fast weight loss. Drink at least 8 glasses a day (2 L). If you don’t like still water, then squeeze the lemon in or add a cucumber. They will give a nice, fresh taste to your drink.

Chocolate protein shake

You can still enjoy some chocolate. Carry a portion of chocolate protein powder with you. When you will get absolutely ravenous while out and about, just add some water, shake it well and drink it. Proteins will make you feel full, so they will help you not to eat high-caloried food.

Cut back liquid calories

Avoid buying juice or lemonade. They are not healthy. Only fresh squeezed juice is healthy. Bought juice or lemonade is full of sugar, sweeteners, artificial flavour and concentrate.

Alcohol is another fluid to watch out for. Don’t drink beer. It is better to drink red wine or a spirit, if you’re out.

Keep a journal
